Seeking an experienced timber flooring carpenter/flooring specialist to repair water-damaged timber floorboards in a hallway. Scope of works: • Inspect existing timber floorboards. • Carefully remove water-damaged/stained boards in hallway. • Remove matching donor boards from nearby cupboard/robe area (hidden location). • Install donor boards into hallway to achieve best possible colour and timber match. • Install suitable replacement boards into cupboard area. • Secure boards correctly and ensure floor is level. • Minimise damage to surrounding boards during removal. • Fill nail holes and prepare repaired area ready for sanding/finishing. • Advise whether spot sanding/coating or larger area sanding is recommended. Important: • Existing floorboards are older face-nailed timber flooring. • Water staining has penetrated deeply and sanding alone has not restored the boards. • Looking for a neat repair using timber from the cupboard to achieve the closest possible match. • Please have experience with timber floor repairs and board replacement (not laminate/floating floors). Requirements: • Own tools and equipment. • Protect surrounding floors and walls. • Remove and dispose of waste materials. • Provide photos of similar timber floor repairs if available.

Floor boards require sanding and sealing. There is quite a bit of variation in the floor currently, we do not expect a perfect outcome just a bit more consistency and brightness. We plan to re-do the flooring in 2 years so this is a semi-temporary fix. The area that requires sanding is 67sqm. There are two bedrooms, one living room and the corridor. I need floorboards laid in a small area. The total area is 1300mm x 800mm I need the 3 existing damaged hardwood floorboards removed and the entire space then laid. It will likely take 7-8 floorboards at 1300 mm in length I want to try to match the existing hardwood floors in the kitchen. The new flooring in this space will need to sit flush with the existing floorboards in the kitchen

Looking for someone experienced with timber floor repairs to fix a few small chips/gouges in our wooden floorboards. Damage includes: -A couple of small holes/chips in the wood -some surface wear/scratches in nearby area I’m not looking for a full sand/polish at this stage — just a tidy cosmetic repair (fill, colour match, and seal if needed) to make the damage less noticeable.
