Repair damaged timber floorboards – Spotswood Description Looking for an experienced timber flooring specialist/carpenter to repair a small section of damaged timber flooring in our kitchen in Spotswood. Approximately two long floorboards have suffered water/moisture damage, with one section deteriorating and giving way. At this stage, we do not want to re-sand and polish the entire house. We’re looking for the best practical repair possible. Ideally we’d like to: * Remove and replace the damaged sections/boards. * Use matching original floorboards taken from a less noticeable area elsewhere in the house (e.g. inside a cupboard/pantry), if practical. * Replace the donor boards with something suitable. * Make the kitchen repair blend in as closely as reasonably possible with the existing floor. * Check the immediate area underneath for any obvious additional damage while the boards are removed. We understand a completely invisible repair may not be possible without sanding the wider floor — we’re just looking for someone experienced who can get the best possible result without refinishing the whole house. I have approx 6 floating laminate flooring that needs to be replaced in my 2 bedrooms as we removed the built in wardrobe. They are discontinued, but I have them installed under the staircase. So would require uninstalling floating floorboards under the staircase, and using them to repair the damaged floorboards upstairs. And then replace the ones under the stairs, approx 2 square metres worth with some other brand.

Hi, I have 7 floor heater vents that have been removed. So they need to be replaced with matching floorboards with exact sizing to fit the gaps in the floor. Total 7 vent holes to be changed I believe only one of the vents needs to be done with 3 different pieces of floorboard as you can see on photos. Thank you

You just need your own hand tools, saw and vacuum. The job: Approx 6m² total 2m board lengths, random stagger — please work the offcuts so the end joins don't line up or stair-step Glue-down onto construction particleboard flooring. Please have actual flooring experience.
