We have running lights under our kitchen bench and they have been flickering and very dull for the last 2 weeks

Ceiling light caught fire. Put out fire and removed burnt light. Replaced light (and light switch. New light won't turn off. Maybe badly wired, possibly something else due to fire. (amateur opinion) Tiled roof, so easy access from above.

I need two 70s wooden standard lamps to be rewired. Both have bayonet sockets for bulbs that look in good shape. Both have had cords cut at the base. I don’t have the replacement cord or wall socket. I’m in Wanniassa but I can drop these off Southside, especially Fyshwick.

Had power points put in our extension and two down lights by a qualified electrician who has now retired. This was down 2 years ago. I am trying to get a BA approval for the extension in retrospect and need the electrical work signed off but can't contact the original guy.
