I have a brand-new Geely 7kW Type 2 EV Home Wall Charger, which I will supply. My newly built house already has a dedicated EV charging outlet/connection installed in the garage by the builder. The EV circuit was installed as part of the original electrical installation and was confirmed by the builder/electrician at handover as being for EV charging. I am simply looking for a qualified/licensed electrician to connect the supplied Geely wall charger to the existing EV connection. Existing EV infrastructure The switchboard appears to have a dedicated EV circuit labelled “GARAGE N/L 15”, protected by a: Hager ADM432T RCBO 32A 3P+N (three-phase + neutral) 30mA Type A RCD protection 230–415V AC Hager's technical specifications confirm the ADM432T is a 4-pole, 3P+N, 32A Type A 30mA RCBO, which is consistent with the dedicated three-phase EV circuit installed at the property. The garage also has the dedicated EV connection/isolator already installed. Work required Please: 1. Inspect the existing EV connection and confirm it is suitable for the supplied Geely 7kW charger. 2. Connect and securely mount the Geely 7kW Type 2 wall charger to the existing EV circuit. 3. Reuse the existing EV circuit and protection — no new circuit is required unless you identify a compliance or capacity issue. 4. Test the installation and charger under load. 5. Confirm correct RCD/earthing operation. 6. Provide the required electrical compliance documentation/certificate on completion. I am not looking to have a new EV circuit installed. The house already has the EV infrastructure; I just need the supplied wall charger connected to it by a qualified electrician. In short: you would need to make the circled-red ceiling lights completely non-operational—so that only the pendant lights turn on when I use the switch—you would need to disconnect the wiring that supplies power to those ceiling lights. The wiring should be inside those individual red-circled lights.
