I’m wanting to get a licensed electrician in to install a new PowerPoint this will likely require 1m of chasing into a rendered wall. Also I would like to discuss the options of installing a switch at our bathroom entry to activate the fan that currently needs to be plugged/ switched on at the opposite side of the room. We will be having the bathroom re done in a few weeks time but would like to also have services for 2 new light fittings run to either side of our vanity as well as another GPO line run into the shaving cabinet. I’m trying to install wardrobes and the power point is in the way. I’m wanting it removed as soon as possible please (desperate for wardrobes!). Ideally just to make it safe and allow my wardrobe to sit flush, then one day in the future we can relocate it. Brick walls. The wardrobe in the picture can be moved out of your way to do the job. Move 2 powerpoints from skirting board to wall above. Will need to be extended and surface mounted most likely. Install isolation switch for new induction cooktop, will probably also need to be surface mounted. Oven is not needed, so 20A circuit + cable from oven would be used as new dedicated circuit for the 4.7kW cooktop. Plenty of slack on it. New cooktop is ready to be wired in and go. Needs to be done by qualified electrician with COES issued for work.

Looking for Call-out fee for AC technician & electrician that can do a diagnose and repair for a 3 split unit - main unit located in rooftop of unit. The unit electrical board was replaced recently (November 2024) and now the power circuit breaker is tripping, unable to power the unit. AC technician revisit work by pulling out the isolator and testing for water present, etc (nothing was found) Electrician was sent to site to replace breaker from power unit and after doing so the power is still tripping the circuit. We believe either the board in the AC unit may be blown again cause by some intermittent issue or the wire going from the power board to the unit is burnt/shorten somewhere. Please provide price for initial diagnose.

Call-out fee to send electrician to unit to replace most likely what is a power breaker on the switch board of unit that has blown/burnt recently The breaker is for an Air Conditioning unit which has been serviced recently (2 months ago) and the AC technician had been on site to check again and confirmed there is no power going through the circuit breaker while there is power in one side (other breakers) there is none on the one for the AC unit, probably randomly tripping assuming when the board blew prior getting the AC serviced last month or so. Require to replace breaker and test for electricity going through the line to the AC unit.

Install dimmer switch on switch plate. Current switch plate only has light switch, have purchased new switch plate and dimmer. Two light switches to do.

I'd be looking at getting the following 4 x electrical tasks done. Important: Due to a new property settlement time on Mon 21st Oct, and other trades which are already scheduled in to start works on Tues 22nd Oct, I'd would need these items below completed late afternoon (4pm onwards) on Mon 21st Oct / before Tues 22nd Oct. 1. Run / set up power for when waterfall peninsular bench will be installed in approximately 1 months time. The bench will include 2 x GPO sockets at either end, and a LED strip light. These items will all be placed underneath the stone top, and located at the top corners, behind the cabinetry (in knee recess). 2. Hang a pendant light above where the peninsular bench will be installed. Including installing a double dimmer switch on a wall near to the where the bench position will be, used to control both the LED under bench light, and also the dimmable hanging pendant light. 3. Run power (install GPO) on bottom of wall to a where the standalone cabinet will be installed. 4. Set up TV Unit GPO (and HDMI / cabelling channel outlet) half way up a wall, ready for a wall mounted TV install.
