I live in a two-storey loft apartment in Malvern. 1. Bathroom exhaust ventilation inspection & inline fan replacement I need a licensed electrician to inspect my bathroom exhaust ventilation system and carry out any necessary repairs. The upstairs bathroom has two ceiling exhaust grilles, one above the shower and one above the laundry area. The exhaust above the laundry area has very weak suction, while the shower exhaust works better. The downstairs toilet (see photo) does not have its own exhaust fan. Instead, its light switch activates the upstairs bathroom exhaust. When switched on, air seems to be drawn into the downstairs storage cupboard that has the service riser (see photo), and unpleasant odours are often noticeable in that area. I'd like the cause of the weak airflow identified, the ducting and ventilation system checked, and the existing inline fan replaced with a quiet, high performance model. Please include in your offer: Whether you are a licensed electrician. Whether you will inspect the ducting as part of the job. The brand and model of the inline fan you recommend. Whether your price includes labour and materials. 2. Additional electrical work Replacement of a light bulb above the stair void (approximately two storeys high). Two power points located in the oven cavity are to be relocated to the next adjacent cupboard. This is to crest further space in the existing oven cavity to fit a new 10amp oven. New hole to be drilled to enable cords to be fed to the new location. May need to join and provide additional electrical cable to get to new spot.
