Disconnect wire and removal of outdoor lamp post. First, disconnect the wiring at the source. Cut off and remove as much of the wiring as possible (until wherever it goes underground). Then use a rotary hammer to demolish the brick structure. On the outdoor side, cut the wire below grade to ensure fully disconnected and remove as much as possible. Lamp post should easily be removed as have dug right around structure so ready to come out. Ensure light switch connected to lamp post is disconnected. Possibly replace with one single switch instead of double.
