Looking for someone experienced with decking repairs to fix a small section of composite decking that has warped/lifted and also inspect garden boxing that is starting to rot. With the deck, a few boards have bowed upwards and there is a noticeable gap between boards. I suspect the boards may need to be lifted and re-secured, likely tree caused by tree root.

Hi. I've got an old deck around the pool that needs replacing and need someone to look at the site and assess the work. I'm hoping the timber underneath is largely ok but I haven't opened up to look. There's about 250 lineal metres of I think 140mm (136x19?). Can you let me have an idea of cost and time to undertake the work....I'm assuming spotted gum or Merbau. NB The timber will need to be carried from the road, down to the deck area - and at a guess that's around 50-60m. Also, given that you won't know the condition of the framing underneath until you get here (to inspect or do the job) how would you quote/give me an estimate for any work required on the framing should it need it) Thank you! The timber deck is in reasonable condition but there are loose timbers in one part. The support under the timber came loose. That needs fixing and rest of the timber deck would require some re-nailing / pinning.

Currently have a timber deck - about 3.6 x4.7m and a step outside the front door too. Would like both areas the same style. Would like to get a non-slip good quality composite deck instead to take the timber restoration maintenance out of the picture. Colour to be the same as current timber if possible to match the rest of the house/outside timber walls. Not sure if it’s possible but an idea would be to also extend the deck and have it wrap around where the current patch of grass is - remove the trees and little garden area. Please note we would also love to get rid of the two massive pot plants in the pictures!

We have a small Blackbutt timber courtyard deck that needs to be replaced, it’s 3.5m x 3.5m (13sqm) and nailed to a treated pine frame. When first installed we had the area ground levelled compacted, plastic sheets were placed over the ground and a treated pine frame was built before the Bluckbutt timber was nailed on top. The first job was very well finished by a friend. In the last photo you can see there is a small section where a hatch can be lifted to access a sump drain below. We would like both the Bluckbutt timber and the treated pine frame to be replaced. We are replacing exactly as it currently is (Same dimensions, Same timber). The cats are very good escape artists so needs to be top to bottom completely secure with a strong mesh wire, preferably with a gate to be able to go into the garden as we also have dogs.
