Have had deck replaced and now need to have new/old stained. Old section will most likely need to be sanded and 1 coast. New section will most likely need 2 coats. This will require a 2 hour break to dry. I have most equipment and stain but no sander. Would like work to be done ASAP before it rains again.

Hi! I’m looking for an experienced tiler or handyman to install outdoor tiles or mosaic/crazy paving tile sheets on my concrete deck, happy for your recommendation and/or supply. (photo attached). Deck size is 8.5m x 2.28m. Tiles are 29.5cm x 29.5cm (approx 223 tiles) Task includes: Removing the black plastic backing from each tile Cutting/shaping the outer edges so the final layout doesn’t look too square Cutting tiles neatly around glass balustrade spigots Gluing tiles directly to the concrete Full grouting of the area Ensuring a neat, even finish (as in image attached)

Deck Rejuvenation. We have a deck that was built six years ago and remains structurally sound. We last had the decks rejuvenated (stripped, cleaned, sanded, and re-oiled) in 2024. We are looking to have this process done again. We are flexible on time and can commence whenever it works. Timber – Merbau Measurements – Rectangle of approx. 6m x 10m + Extension of approx. 1m x 9m I have attached photos from the last rejuvenation in 2024, and its current state in 2026. In 2024, we had two (2) coats a week apart, and this left a heavy coat that became really hot and reflective in summer. The deck faces North. We are looking for a finish like the photos of 2024 (1-4) attached. These were taken after the first day, with one coat, which gave it a more natural look. OIL – We do want you to use what we had last time, ‘Aqualis H2 Oil’ (Matt), in ‘Trans Black’, OR, Haymes. Aqulis & Haymes are both Australian companies, and we’ve preferred this over other oils we have used in the past. (This said, we are open-minded to an Oil product if you have a track record with this and can provide examples of this. We will look to you to supply the Oil). You should be experienced in Deck Rejuvenation (Stripping, Cleaning, Sanding, Application), with experience you can refer to and demonstrate skill in. We had to remove a tree that had grown too big for it's original gap through the deck. Now it's been removed, we need to patch the hole.

We are looking for someone to use a commercial grade sander to sand back our Merbau deck to its original colour. It currently has a dark red/brown colour on it that we would like sanded off. We would like it to go back to the original Merbau colour, and to then be finished with a protective clear oil. The deck is undercover and is levelled and in fantastic condition. The nails are also in excellent condition and not sticking up. We are also looking for someone who may be able to build three long Merbau steps to lead from the deck to the grass. I have built most of a deck and need the help of a carpenter to lay a joist solution over the existing concrete slab of an old patio. The slab is not precisely level and so requires a solution with thin joists and packers (my theory), to allow me to finish laying the decking boards. 10 joists. I have all the wood. I would think roughly a day of work. I’ve added as many photos as possible. Just require someone who really knows what they are doing!

Hi there! I have an existing timber decking to a balcony that is located about 100mm above an existing concrete slab. Leaves are gathering in the gap below the timber decking and I would like an number of access hatches or similar places in the decking to clean out the leaves. Timber decking is existing and is to be reused. Hinges and handles are to be provided by you. You will see in the photos I have partially removed the decking. Access is via a long driveway that a large van can access. Then there is steps up about 3 floors. The job can be done in January. There are 2 seperate decking areas that are a similar size. The photos show one area.
