We’re looking for an experienced and licensed professional to help us measure, supply good budget friendly composite decking and install them with all the things required to go with it for ground clearance, frame, etc. The area is currently a pool which is getting demolished and will be filled for decking to go on top! Current decking we’ve looked at include brite decking and Ekodeck at bunnings which are more in our budget. Area is approximately 52-54m2. We will apply for a CDC with council to make sure everything complies with them as well! BONUS: we are also wanting a motorised Louvre pergola, if you can do that, please let us know as well! We’re looking for an experienced exterior timber/decking specialist to clean, prepare and re-stain/oil the timber decking around our home in Bilgola Plateau. Areas include: * Small balcony/deck off the master bedroom * Main deck off the upstairs living area * Smaller downstairs deck * Decking around/near the fire-pit area * Timber boardwalk/walking deck through the garden The home is surrounded by established gardens/rainforest, so some areas are exposed to moisture, leaf litter and organic growth. Scope: * Inspect the existing timber and coating before starting * Thoroughly clean the decking and remove dirt, organic growth, mildew/algae and weathering as appropriate * Use timber-safe cleaning methods and products — we do not want the timber aggressively pressure washed or damaged * Prepare the surface appropriately for refinishing, including light sanding where required * Re-stain/oil the decking to restore and protect the timber * Protect surrounding stone, painted surfaces, plants and landscaping * Leave all areas clean on completion We would like the finished timber to look natural, matte and understated rather than glossy, orange or heavily stained. Hi. I've got an old deck around the pool that needs replacing. I'm hoping the timber underneath is largely ok but I haven't opened up to look. There's about 250 lineal metres of I think 140mm. Can you let me have an idea of cost and time to undertake the work....and let me know your thoughts on what timber. NB The timber will need to be carried from the road, down to the deck area - and at a guess that's around 50-60m. Thank you! Peter

Hi there! I have an existing timber decking to a balcony that is located about 100mm above an existing concrete slab. Leaves are gathering in the gap below the timber decking and I would like an number of access hatches or similar places in the decking to clean out the leaves. Timber decking is existing and is to be reused. Hinges and handles are to be provided by you. You will see in the photos I have partially removed the decking. Access is via a long driveway that a large van can access. Then there is steps up about 3 floors. The job can be done in January. There are 2 seperate decking areas that are a similar size. The photos show one area.
