Composite: Low maintenance, rot-resistant (ideal for the damp/misty Blue Mountains climate). Treated Pine: Most cost-effective, requires staining. Fasteners: as recommended for the longevity of the structure, especially given the constant moisture from the spa. Conduits: Frame must allow for electrical and plumbing lines to be plumbed up through the sub-frame into the spa cabinet. Surface Drainage: Ensure the ground beneath the deck is sloped to prevent water from pooling under the timber structure. Access: Site is accessible by UTE.
