Need a carpenter to help for decking on Tuesday the 14th and 15th of July able to pay hourly rate. If this is accepted this amount will be deducted from the amount owed.

I need someone to please come and sand the deck and the wooden seat next to it. We will provide the sander.

We're looking for a handyman to help solve a problem with a small section of warped DuraTuff vinyl cladding just outside the threshold of our granny flat. We think a batten of just the right dimensions could push the cladding back in line, provided it can be mounted securely to the existing timber decking so as to resist strong sideways shear. (The warped cladding is very rigid). The batten would need to be durable/external/H3-treated DAR, about 35mm x 40mm x 1000mm (HxDxL) or, for stronger shear resistance, maybe a whole plank?

I have noticed a small moisture/mould mark on the covered deck ceiling under the metal roof area. It seems to be a fairly recent issue and does not appear to be a major leak at this stage. I would like someone to: - inspect the area, - help identify the source/cause of the moisture, and advise what repair is required. I suspect it may be related to wind-driven rain or a small leak around the roof flashing/edge near the side connection, but I’m not certain. Looking for someone to do our yearly deck oiling. Merbau wood, approx 5m x 3m deck. There is some vertical panelling and 3 large stairs. See photos for details. Looking for: 1. A clean and a very light sand of the deck. It's relatively new (built Feb 2025, but gets direct sunlight. 2. Timber oil of choice. 2 coats ideally but will leave to the professionals.
