I bought a new stove top to be installed, i had someone out this morning to install it but the bench needs to be cut back a little as the stove top is too big. The guy didn't do cutting on site ! Can you help?

Bed frame has cracked through the wood on one of the side panels at the base of the bed, and cannot hold up a mattress as the crack is through the middle of the panel. Need the split to be attached together on one of the wood panels, or alternatively for another side piece to be brought in and attached with the screws from the old one. The bottom part where the break is is where slates go in place to hold up the mattress so cannot use when it’s like this. Can post pictures to whoever wants the task - Due date: Flexible
