Needing to install a new blank bedroom door. Needs to be fitted on to hinges and door handle needs to be cut out and installed The door is completely blank. The height is okay but the width needs to be shaved a few mm. The door is size of opening but didn’t account for hinge gap, so need to shave tiny bit off. I want the hinge to also be flush

I have a window which doesn’t close properly. The window can close shut but it leaves a gap on the top part. I don’t know if the problem is within the hinges as when it’s open you can push it up so it might be lower than it needs to be. I tried contacting the manufacturer which is “REHAU” but the company doesn’t exist anymore. Please let me know what the problem could be and if it’s possibile to fix without changing the whole window. Thank you
