I have a solar pool heating system on a metal roof in Kensington that has been reactivated after sitting idle. The pump and controller work and the system heats well, but there are a couple of leaks in the black collector strips on the roof (water runs into the downpipe while it’s running). Looking for someone experienced with solar pool heating to: Locate and repair the leaks in the collector strips (proper repair plugs, not tape) Check the strips are properly strapped down, as some are lifting Replace the roof temperature sensor for the controller (Ascon Multi Solar Controller MS3D, currently showing a roof sensor error) I can run the pump while you’re on the roof so leaks are easy to spot. We need a licensed plumber to assess and repair a leaking shower in our Kensington unit. Strata has already arranged a plumber to test the shower tray and pipework—both passed with no leaks. However, the internal shower walls have been flagged as original and the waterproofing has failed, causing water damage to the opposite wall (bubbling paint, photos attached). Re-waterproofing of balcony needed - Approx 5m x 0.9m (some areas are x 1.2m). Existing waterproofing is now failing. There is a drain pipe, but will likely need screeding as the water is pooling and not sloping towards the drain. Following waterproofing, will need existing pavers relaid (we have lifted them to show the area that needs to be worked on).
