Kitchen tap has come loose. I don’t have the wrench that’s big enough to go around the hex nut under the tap to tighten it. It’s a 2min job.

Poked a hole in a bedroom door. Need it patched.

I have two showers that both need the screen seals replaced – at the bottom of the door, as well as on the vertical side of the door. Airtasker would need to come and measure, purchase the seals, remove the old ones (and any mould), and install the new ones.

I can’t figure out how to measure and get a replacement toilet seat from Bunnings. Help please ! You would need to come and measure it, go buy the seat and then replace it. Thanks

We need a qualified plumber to replace our tap above the kitchen sink. Fairly straightforward

Expected time of task: 5 mins. Wooden pegs that connected two sides of a wooden bed frame were broken during a move. I require a simple repair by drilling of screws to hold the two wooden pieces together in the absence of the pegs. Happy for this to be in situ solution to last only as long as the bed remains in its current position.

A previous Airtasker did a poor job installing a ceiling fan. Instead of securing it properly, he placed a piece of wood and screwed it in, leaving it loose. There is a metal beam available, so the fan needs to be securely mounted to it using a proper bracket or support. The electrical connection is already in place—everything just needs to be connected to the control unit. The job is straightforward: securely mount the fan to the metal beam and complete the wiring. Task: Install a ceiling fan mounting bracket and wall switch • Supply and install a fan-rated mounting bracket between ceiling beams to support the existing ceiling fan. • Install a wall switch to operate the fan. • Ensure proper wiring and secure installation for safe operation. There is no cable or switch . It has to be run through the ceiling and down the chiprock wall . Should be easy . There is also no ceiling bracket . It would be good if you have one .

Need someone to help prepping few bathrooms for resurfacing. Tasks involved: cleaning, re-grouting, masking walls before spraying other bits and pieces. Experience in grouting would be advantage but not necessary. $30 per hour, plenty of work. Reposted task due to previous tasker cancelation.

3 speed ceiling fan. When 1 is selected it is incredibly slow (near useless), 2 is only slightly better while 3 is super fast. We want to see if the 1 and 2 speeds can be increased, possibly by reconnecting wiring for the capacitor or a new capacitor. Note the fan hasn't suddenly broken as it has worked as described above for years. An electrician once looked at it and guessed it was because the fan was 4 speed but the switch on the wall was 3 speed. I am not convinced this is the case
