Find an experienced handyman in Hillarys

Hi We have a tall [maybe 1.2m] water fountain, freestanding with a central spout, in the front yard. About 3 years old. However we have a problem with losing water from the above-ground reservoir, at a rate that I doubt can be explained by evaporation and/or wind. Probably losing 3-4” a day and needing topping up every day. Also prone to algae as I’ve turned the spout down in trying to reduce the amount of water loss. The pot and the reservoir are very heavy. They were also sealed, with a black tar-like substance before installation. The rate of water loss seems to have been accelerating recently. In my opinion the fountain needs to be drained; disassembled; checked for leaks; pump cleaned; filter replaced; resealed if necessary; reassembled; and filled and checked for leaks. Probably needs 2 strong people at the beginning and the end of the job. This needs someone experienced with this kind of work, not a general handyman but someone who has successfully tackled this kind of task before. I need someone willing to guarantee their work as someone could attempt the repair fail and leave me in the same position as I am now. I hope you understand that. I’m able to forward photos to assist, but don’t want to be sending them to all and sundry just to satisfy curiosity. A police clearance would be helpful, as would references. Having a solid website would not go astray either. I would expect the work to be guaranteed. I’m not entirely comfortable with the tone of what I have just written but ask that you consider that this job must be done correctly. If it is not and it fails then I’ll be in exactly the spot I am in now. Please feel welcome to contact me. Obviously, the job should be viewed and discussed first. I’m uncertain as to how to ask for a quote when the scope of the job is unclear. Hourly plus materials might be best, but again I’m open to discussing that.
