2 storey granny flat. Top floor 30 sqm 2 rooms ceiling and walls. Ground floor 30sqm 1 room - need suspended ceiling installation too. Its bit tricky to describe details, need to visit before making a quote.

We require two gyprock extensions to drop down from the ceiling (ceiling height 2.67m) to a height of 2.1m above the floor (total height of plasterboard will be approx 500 and 430) at two locations in our house. These extensions will run wall to wall and sit flush against the walls on both sides. Work includes creating a timber stud frame to support the plasterboard and cornices to connect the plasterboard to the ceiling on both sides. Architraves will later be attached to the bottom horizontal edge to support sliding doors on tracks. Measurements are as shown in Figure 1 and 2

I have a shed that needs remodelling as I’m turning into a hair studios. It’s made from aluminium so the inside just needs to be boarded up and the ceiling needs to be gyprocked so that lighting can be put in. I may also need a window installed. The roof in the shed has some fibre board put in that’ll need to be removed before starting. It should take a days worth of labour. All materials will be supplied (you can let me know specifically what’s needed.) willing to pay a day rate of $500 cash.

My salon ceiling has water damage and a small section around a downlight that has cracked. The ceiling will likely need the damaged plasterboard cut out, replaced, patched and made ready for painting. Photos attached. Ideally someone who has experience with ceiling repairs and downlights. The leak has already been resolved but the ceiling now needs repair. Location: Paddington. Please quote including materials if possible. We have the paint available on site.

Looking for an experienced handyman or insulation installer to replace damaged ceiling gyprock and install foil insulation under the roof (as per attached photo). Scope of work: • Remove damaged ceiling gyprock • Supply and install new gyprock/plasterboard • Tape, set, and sand joints (ready for paint) • Install foil board / sarking insulation under roof rafters (like existing in photo) • Secure insulation neatly between timber framing • Re-inforce the rest of ceiling and set finish. I have a section of wall outside my laundry cupboard that has been damaged by humidity from the dryer. The paint has bubbled and the wall underneath is now soft/spongy, so I believe the gyprock needs to be cut out and replaced (not just patched over). This is located next to a light switch. Scope of work: - Cut out the damaged section of gyprock - Install new plasterboard patch (with proper backing) - Tape, joint, sand, and smooth the surface - Prime and repaint to match existing wall (we'll supply the paint) Important: This has been caused by moisture, so I need a proper fix rather than a surface patch I can send more photos if needed.
