I’m looking to have an old garden bed removed from the side yard of my house. It’s a small area, as the property is a terrace house in South Melbourne. I’d also like to install a fence on top of the existing brick wall there.

I have demolished a small shed and need to relocate the remaining timber wall 1.5mtrs to the side of the metal shed. The tember wall is behind the tree fixed to posts that have cement footings.

Existing fence is in place along the front of the yard, we want to install a matching fence along the side. The space is about 3 or 4 metres long I think. The fence height should come to 150cm, but the timber itself could be shorter since it would sit on top of a small concrete wall (about knee height). I know the existing fence is spotted gum painted white, but not fussed about the timber used really

I have purchased a hoselock hose reel for my front garden and realise that the best placement involves a wooden post being concreted into the garden bed and then the reel being attached to that. So, dig a hole big enough to hold the weight, shove in a post, concrete it in and attach the hose reel. I could do it, but i don't have a post, i don't have the cement and my wife says I am hopeless with power tools. Which is fair. (the reel weighs 9.5kg apparently) and I guess it will need to be approx 75cm-1m off the ground). A bit top heavy

First task is to repair the gate shown in the pictures. The gate is 80cm wide and the total distance between the walls it sits between is 190cm. As shown in the second image it doesn't fully close at the moment, so the task is to rehang it so that it closes properly. A friend has recently moved into a ground floor unit in Ascot Vale, and needs a rotting wooden fence (approx 2 metre width) demolished and replaced with Colorbond, with a gate in it for access.
