It has become very difficult to open and close, with significant resistance, and it appears to be falling off its runners (tracks). This is a growing problem that is impacting our staff's workflow. The Job: The task is to replace the faulty drawer runners to make the drawer fully functional and smooth again. The scope of work will involve: 1. Assessing and removing the old, worn pair of drawer runners from both the drawer and the cabinet carcass. 2. Supplying and installing a new, high-quality pair of drawer runners that are the correct size and weight capacity for this high-volume drawer. 3. Correctly installing the drawer back into the cabinet. 4. Testing the drawer to ensure it opens and closes smoothly and fully without resistance. Please note: The successful contractor MUST supply the new replacement drawer runners. The cost for these materials must be included in your final offer. 3m x 2m area. Pine floorboards need to be nailed and glued down. They are already cut to size and are placed loosely down in position. Some floorboard trims along the sides need to be cut and put into place.

We want to build a facade for a Desky standing desk so it looks like an older style vintage desk. It should be quite a cool creative woodworking/carpentry job but whilst we have a vision for it we don’t have the skills or tools. We are seeking someone with good carpentry/woodworking/joinery/cabinetry/furniture making skills to come out, help us figure it out, then do the woodworking etc to make it happen. We will supply the materials once we’ve figured out together exactly what we need. Imagine it will probably take a visit to our place to plan it, and then maybe a half day or day to do the work. Might need to negotiate a final fee once we’ve figured out what we’re doing.

Cut out 15 rotten decking boards from outdoor raised deck area and replace - replacement boards already on site. Replacement pieces are recycled from neighbours deck and mostly already cut to length. Pics below of the two sections requiring the work - with replacement boards overlayed those requiring removal.

A piece of the timber needs to be put back to the cupboard. It probably requires planing and glue.

We have had some custom joinery installed and need a skirting board and scotia fitted and installed between the edge of the joinery and the old skirting boards. We have pieces of old skirting that can be cut and repurposed and should be sufficient. - Due date: Needs to be done on Friday, 24 November 2023
