Important: I want to keep the existing top handrail and reuse the existing stainless-steel wire if possible. I am not looking to replace the entire balustrade. Job includes: * Remove the rotted/damaged timber posts. * Supply and install suitable replacement external-grade timber posts. * Keep and reuse the existing top handrail. * Keep and reuse the existing stainless-steel wire balustrade where possible. * Reattach/tension the existing wire to the new posts. * Match the existing timber as closely as possible. * Ensure everything is secure, level and structurally sound. Build an outdoor cabinetry bbq kitchen

10 to 15 yr old kitchen benchtop assumed engineered stone, originally cream / beige colour. Not sure what tenants did to cause heavily stained grey stains next to sink, think top surface has crazed in spots, hoping someone can fix rather than replace. I know $100 is unrealistic. Unit is vacant Benchtop approx 600 deep x 2100 long with 300 return, then other 600 deep x 900 wide (Stove in-between). Happy to remove sink if that helps.

I need a carpenter for prep work on my timber entry door and door frame so a new surface-mounted rim lock (Aqara U500, supplied, with template and instructions) can be fitted properly. The lock itself clips on easily; the real job here is the timber work: 1. FRAME REPAIR (main task): The old Lockwood rim lock’s keeper was mortised into the jamb, leaving a recessed cavity with old packing material (photos attached). This cavity needs to be chiselled square and patched with solid timber glued in and finished flush with the jamb, not just filled because the new lock’s keeper is surface mounted and its screws must bite into solid wood. This is an entry door, so the strike anchoring needs to be genuinely secure (long screws into the framing behind the jamb welcome). 2. DOOR HOLE: Enlarge the existing through-hole (currently ~32mm) to 50mm and drill two 12mm holes per the supplied template. The new lock needs a 40–45mm backset, so the hole position may need adjusting, if the new bore overlaps the old hole, plug and re-drill cleanly. 3. FIT & ALIGN: Mount the lock body and keeper, and make sure the door closes and locks smoothly. Door and frame faces need to be flush for this lock, so minor adjustment/trimming may be needed. No painting required (my painter is doing touch-ups separately) and no smart-home setup (I’ll handle pairing). Bring: drill, 50mm hole saw, 12mm bit, chisels, timber for patching, wood glue, screws. Photos attached of the door hole (with measurements), the frame cavity, and the old lock. Timber door on timber frame, ground floor, easy access. Looking for someone with door/lock carpentry experience who takes pride in a clean, solid result.

You must have experience drilling into tile without cracking it and bring the appropriate drill bits. ​Materials Provided: I have the fixtures, mounting brackets, screws, and standard wall plugs ready to go. You just need to bring the tools and the expertise. ​Care Required: The fixtures have a matte black finish, so I need someone who will be extra careful not to scratch or scuff the hardware during the installation.

I have 4 pieces of painted wood. They need the ends cutting a sticking to the kitchen island. I already have some liquid nails.
