We’re looking for an experienced exterior timber/decking specialist to clean, prepare and re-stain/oil the timber decking around our home in Bilgola Plateau. Areas include: * Small balcony/deck off the master bedroom * Main deck off the upstairs living area * Smaller downstairs deck * Decking around/near the fire-pit area * Timber boardwalk/walking deck through the garden The home is surrounded by established gardens/rainforest, so some areas are exposed to moisture, leaf litter and organic growth. Scope: * Inspect the existing timber and coating before starting * Thoroughly clean the decking and remove dirt, organic growth, mildew/algae and weathering as appropriate * Use timber-safe cleaning methods and products — we do not want the timber aggressively pressure washed or damaged * Prepare the surface appropriately for refinishing, including light sanding where required * Re-stain/oil the decking to restore and protect the timber * Protect surrounding stone, painted surfaces, plants and landscaping * Leave all areas clean on completion We would like the finished timber to look natural, matte and understated rather than glossy, orange or heavily stained. We’re happy to take advice on the most appropriate product/finish once the existing timber and condition have been assessed. When responding, please include: 1. One (1) main side support (stringer) for external timber stairs has come loose, where it attaches to a riser (structural vertical post) . Stringers are the long, angled board. that runs along each side of the staircase to hold the treads (steps) and risers (vertical parts). Access is level and the stringer & rise are at bottom of the stairs, so easy to reach from ground level and also the bottom timber landing.

Carpenter to build an arbour like this one. Offer for labour. You can give me list of materials and I supply. No stain needed. Size is about 1*1m but can be a bit longer once job is confirmed.

I need the railings and fittings of my glass balustrades polished to remove the tarnish. They are stainless steel. I have the solution to do this and it comes of easy as I did another area this weekend. There is 40m left to do. Just the top railing and the four attachments to each glass panel front and back. The AquaViro solution and scourers and drill operated buffer will be provided. It would take probably 6 hours to complete. It took me 3 hours for 20m over the weekend.
