We’re looking for someone to supply, cut, and install a timber panel to create a new benchtop surface over an existing fixed bench in our office. Key Details: The timber should be similar to a SpecRite 2400mm x 900mm x 33mm Acacia panel, or equivalent. It will need to be cut into two pieces (1200mm x 900mm) to fit into our building lift. The two pieces will then need to be joined side-by-side onsite to form a single 2400mm x 900mm benchtop. The new panel will sit directly on top of the existing benchtop. Installation should be secure but removable, as we are in a rental space. No permanent fixings into the existing structure — suitable methods could include double-sided mounting tape, adhesive strips, or brackets attached only to the new panel. The final result should be stable, level, and cleanly joined.
