Looking for someone to repair parts of the ceiling of the unit downstairs affected by old water staining/peeling paint. The original issue was caused by blocked balcony drainage above, but the drainage was fixed immediately afterwards and there is no ongoing leak. Photos show the two affected areas. This is a relatively small cosmetic repair - just needs to be professionally finished to meet the property owner's expectations. No major structural replacement is expected. Build shelves and a racking system for garments at a trade fair at the royal exhibition building. Tues 4th 2pm. It is an easy build and should only take 2-3 hours. There will be help there to assist

Need someone to install 3 new internal door handles. The existing handle holes are slightly too large. The round rose just covers the hole, but there’s not enough timber underneath for the mounting screws to secure properly. The doors will likely need small timber infills/repairs so the screws have something solid to bite into. The strike plate/latch recesses also need a small amount of chiselling for the new hardware to fit correctly. The new handles are on site and I’d ideally need done tonight or first thing tomorrow morning.

I have a timber window frame in my apartment that has cracked/peeling paint and possible minor wood rot. The window also gets very damp in winter and I recently had a millipede come in, so I want the gaps sealed properly. Scope of work: * Scrape and remove loose/flaking paint on the window frame (inside, possibly small touch outside if accessible) * Fill cracks and any minor damaged timber with wood filler * Seal gaps around the frame and glass with appropriate sealant to prevent moisture and bugs getting in * Optional: light sanding and touch-up paint (white) if included This is a first-floor apartment. Inside access is easy. Outside access may be possible with a ladder but only if safe. Looking for someone experienced with basic carpentry/handyman work, especially timber window repairs. I have a back external deck that is approx. 5m. x 6.5 m. including two sets of wide stairs. A few odd things: 1. Install a 70cm kick board under cupboard 2. Build a small draw above oven and install a small surround between oven and edge of cupboard 3. Aircon duct to be secured / filled in. It’s in an awkward spot above a 236cm wardrobe so aesthetics don’t matter, it just needs the gap enclosed and air vent positioned. There likely to be other odd tasks as well.
