I want to add a European laundry in the next room, to create more space in the kitchen (see image). Wall is not brick and can be cut into, as with floorboards underneath. Given that this is beside the current plumbing in the kitchen/laundry I believe this must be possible and am interested to know how much this would cost, how long it would likely take and any risks/concerns with this concept. There's already a power point in this location, so it's more so plumbing that's an issue with moving a washing machine. Our Elfa dishwasher is currently turning on and lights appear but once you begin the cycle it is now distributing water. I believe it may be due to a water safety switch having turned itself on when water was left in the tray.
