Hi I purchased a cat door (without a flap) and I need to install it into one of my internal doors so that I can hide the litter box. I’d prefer if you didn’t need to take the door off which I think can be done with a drill and jigsaw. You would need to have the tools as I only have the cat door. An example of what it should look like it attached except the cat door will be on the right side instead of the middle

1) install a pax end of unit shelving unit. 20x58x201. 2) replace hinges on 2 60x200 wardrobe doors where the hinges have pulled away from the door frame 3) mount a 60 cm metal wall mount coat rack next to existing coat rack. Specific attention being paid to the strength of the mount due to the use and weight of the rack.

This task has 3 elements which collectively should take an hour or less for someone with the right know-how. (Task 1) Pop out this double glazing window pane so that I measure its width and thickness and then put back in. (Task 2) Find a way to re-attach the bedroom door handle (see photo) The original screws no longer take, large ones do not seem to work and as the door is mainly hollow I wouldn't think plugs could help much. (Task 3) Use a multi-tool or similar power tool to cut down a metal washing line pole in the garden.

We’re a disabled household needing help installing an outdoor IP66 waterproof socket to safely charge our mobility scooters. The weatherproof socket (already purchased – see photos) needs to be mounted on the external brick wall below the basement window (or beside door, will appreciate your expertise and advice on this), with wiring taken from an indoor plug socket on the opposite side of that wall (this outdoor socket is pre-wired so has a plug itself to plug into the indoor socket) The wall is standard solid brick, accessible from both sides (inside and outside). We’d like the installer to: • Drill through the wall and run the cable neatly. • Mount the external socket securely and seal the hole. • Clip or staple the wiring neatly along the interior and exterior wall if required. • Advise briefly on the best placement height for safe scooter charging and weather protection. This will replace our temporary extension-lead setup (currently running through the basement door) which we know isn’t safe long-term. You’ll have: • Access to the inside and outside walls. • The socket unit and cable provided (IP66 rated). • Tea / Coffee and Biscuits for the duration (if you like, or water too) We’d love a reliable qualified electrician or experienced handyman familiar with outdoor electrical work. Two doors have come off their hinges at our property, one kitchen cupboard door and one closet door. The closet door screw no longer tightens on the hinge so will need someone with the right tools to be able to complete these tasks. Simple job won’t take long at all for the right person

I would like to replace a small sash window in a first-floor flat. The window measures approximately 65 cm x 43 cm (excluding the frame and sill) and is directly opposite the door to a bathroom that has no window of its own, so it is key for ventilation. The current window is single-glazed and not draught-proofed, so it lets a significant amount of cold air in even when closed. The window cannot be accessed from the outside except by putting a ladder in the garden of the ground-floor flat. I would like a uPVC top-hung awning window with clear glass to replace this, installed by an installer who is registered with FENSA or Certass and is able to provide a FENSA or Certass certificate for the installation.

There are three tasks here however you are still welcome to message if you can only do one or two. The amount here is just for labour, happy to refund any items purchased at cost price (please provide receipts). Only have very basic tools: screwdrivers, saw etc and so please bring your own. I presume a multi-tool is most suitable for the below. (Task 1) Due to wall tiles now being on the wall to the right the door does not close, it may also need trimming elsewhere (see photos). Also even with that issue resolved the door does not close even though the original screw holes for the hinge are used, so re-alignment is also required. Please note this door of course has a wooden frame but its not solid wood throughout and so care needs to be taken when shaving it down / a new wooden strip may need adding. (Task 2) Standard dinning room leg is wobbly / has had a dodgy repair from the previous owner. Wood is split so new leg needed or wood repaired... properly this time! (Task 3) Two doors of the same design need a separate key operated lock added below the door handle and a hole created in the frame for the deadbolt to go in and out. My flat is in the Stockwell part of London (SW9 0BN) and I can be flexible when you visit for a quote or if terms are agreed, when the work is carried out.

Sliding pocket door has come off its track. Likely requires removal of some door trim to access the track and brackets and perform the repair. It appears that it's the bracket further into the pocket (ie disappears first when opened) which has come off. The outer bracket (the first to appear when closing the door) is still in place. See photos. If possible, while repairing, it would be good to plane or cut down the bottom of the door, as it rubs on the doorsill. I think it was probably this which caused the door to come off the track in the first place.
