I tried fitting a new outdoor tap, replacing an exiting rusty tap. The old tap was seized up and I have made a small leak trying to get the tap off. So the existing tap needs removing and a new one fitting.

There's a leak in the cistern and most likely the valve needs to be replaced, there's another toilet where there's a minor leak to the cistern from the external pipe where water flows into the cistern. Both these started after alteration to a mains pressured water system throughout the property. After the work, water pressure is now high in the bathrooms and hence there's leak in the cisterns .. I'd also like to change a tap in the family bath and the toilet seat in the WC

The property is being prepared for sale, so we need a definitive, thorough diagnostic to find the root cause, rather than a cosmetic fix. The Issue: Dark, oily/grease-like stains appearing in separate areas on an inside wall (including around an electrical socket). Distribution strongly suggests 2 issues. A roofing company has already ruled out roof flashing defects or external water ingress from above but no one has gone to the roof. Kitchen mixer tap is leaking from the base of the spout when either the hot or cold tap is turned on. The more the tap is opened, the more water spurts out. I would like someone to diagnose and repair it.

The shower keeps dripping need someone to suggest a solution and fix the shower. Already tried to solve replacing the shower head; the leak didn't get solved. Task has 2 parts, 1. Shower looks like the one in the attached picture (brand: Aqualisa), it is thermostatic. You can suggest or bring the new parts; they don't need to be from Aqualisa, but still be good quality and have a warranty. The person must come with their own set of tools. There is a slow leak from around the toilet cistern. There is visible water staining and rust around the cistern-to-bowl fixing bolts. The leak occurs when the cistern is full, but stops after flushing when the water level drops. I suspect the cistern-to-bowl bolts, washers or gasket may need replacing, but I'd like the source checked and repaired properly. The toilet otherwise works normally. Please provide a fixed price including labour and standard parts.

Leak under kitchen sink! Lose pipe and can’t fit it back on !

I’m looking for a plumber to repair my kitchen sink waste pipe. The existing P-trap/U-bend has come apart and I haven’t been able to refit it correctly. I purchased what I thought was the correct replacement, but it appears the fittings/washers aren’t compatible with my existing pipework. Job required: * Assess the current waste pipe setup. * Supply any correct fittings/washers if needed. * Replace and fit a new P-trap/U-bend. * Ensure all joints are watertight and test for leaks before leaving. The sink is currently unusable as the waste pipe has come apart (see photos).
