we need floor broads lifting , then fibre wool putting down. rooms are bedroom 5.5 m x 4 m living 5.5 x 4.6 . kitchen 3.7 x 5.5 m. corridor 4x 2 m, floorbroad back down then ply wood cut to room size . All materials provided. of course some of floorbroad will get / might get damage you will need to repair them. few items need moving out.

Looking for someone to install a bathroom extractor fan and insulated ducting. I already have the extractor fan and insulation/ducting materials ready, so this is a labour-only job. We have 3.6mm plywood, acoustic roll and have been using adhesive spray to hold the roll in place. I have sciatica which has flared up currently but looking to get this done before our sofabed arrives to put in place and I'm not feeling it's best for me to do right now (and I am not the most technically gifted when it comes to DIY). Hopefully should only be a day's work for someone who knows what they are doing. Maybe less.

Finish off loft insulation works, half way through but didn’t have time to finish, have all the tools required. Just need someone to do this, then fit plasterboard on top, only access through loft hatch. Loft is already boarded, this is roof insulation, have platform up there.

I need my garden office insulated, laminate flooring installed and painted inside.

An area of the loft needs boarding up so can be used as a wardrobe. The door needs moving back and a new partition wall added. The roof has old insulation that needs replacing. Some wooden floor we have left needs putting down in a v small area to match.

I live in a ground floor flat and my living room is by the front door. The neighbours above make a lot of noise when entering and leaving the house.

Install lost insulation and fill holes

Help a carpenter for a day installing insulation and plasterboard to walls and ceilings.

1.a) to check if the roof felt is good condition or needs repair. if no repair then 1.b ) need the widths & length of gaps between roof trusses. to be noted down and label eg 7,a,b,c then 8 a, b , to do about 6-8 pieces at a time 2) To go to insulation downstair, and cut with saw to precise or near precise size to mark with pen and keep fairly straight saw cuts along lengths. to then label 7 a, b ,c and the top to be mark ' top' 3) then to go back up and trim with saw so that the piece fits in between roof trusses. regularly there will be wood that will not allow the insulation to sit in correctly the indentation will need to be sawn out , this process to be repeated. 4.) use of thin bits insert in gaps on the side and create corner pieces eg trianglar pieces for top of roof. Once the heat gun arrives, eg by saturday then repairs can be made on roof felt. Repair process, view splits in felts, dust down with brush or glove, then cut flash bands to size , use heat gun, to melt tar material in order to stick over 6/7 split. Then the insulation can be inputted in. Some of this process has been already done.

I need someone to look at why dark patches appear on edges/corner of the ceiling. I suspect it may be about insulation at the edge of the eves but would like someone to take a look. - Due date: Flexible

I need 2, 1.2 m blinds put up on my wall over the windows it is URGENT this is done as soon as possible as it is getting extremely hot and my room is sun facing so my room is hot. Preferably someone with their own drill and tools it’s IKEA blinds so everything comes in a pack.

Hi there, I started renovating my summer house myself but unfortunately don’t have the time to complete the project, so I’m looking for someone to come in and finish it properly. Work required includes: * Roof insulation to be completed (walls have already been partially insulated) * Internal cladding of the walls/ceiling with plywood * Lino flooring supplied/fitted * Installation of a proper secure lock on the door * Window beading to be fitted/finished * General touch-ups to the existing paintwork using barn paint to make everything look tidy and finished The structure is already in place and some of the prep work has been started, so it’s mainly a case of completing and tidying the project to a good standard.

The sides of the loft have already been insulated. However, the front section has been made into a triangular room, and there are boards down. They've been nailed down.Which is the big problem. The loft insulation either has to go over the time of the existing boards, which i'm not sure would meet installation standards. Alternatively, the boards need to come up. And the insulation run straight across under the walls which might need to be cut away.
