Help build frame to raise loft level install insullation and boards on top. Will need help lifting the boards into the loft. Looking for help over the weekend and looking to pay 120 a day

Finish off loft insulation works, half way through but didn’t have time to finish, have all the tools required. Just need someone to do this, then fit plasterboard on top, only access through loft hatch. Loft is already boarded, this is roof insulation, have platform up there.

Remove the old Insulation and boards. Clean up the loft thproughtly and install new Insulation (270 mm) and raised floor boards (using loft trac or loftzone)

I don’t have the Catflap yet. I need a catflap got installed into the back door of the house. It is a upvc door. Thanks

To board and insulate a garage

Two different jobs: 1. Cleaning the front of a painted two storey house with soap, water and brush (own equipment requirement) 2. Sorting out and replacing insulation in the loft and sorting loft slightly (e.g. taking away old aerials)

I need to insulate my loft, which currently has very little insulation. I’m looking to install the recommended minimum thickness of 270 mm across roughly 69 sqm. Based on what I’ve seen at B&Q, the materials alone would cost around £400. Part of the loft is already boarded, as shown in the photos/video. I’m happy to pay £200 for the labour if I supply the insulation myself. Alternatively, I’m open to someone handling the whole job—including supplying the insulation—as long as the total stays within a £600 budget for 270 mm thickness. Please bear in mind that around a third of the loft is boarded, so that section will also need to be insulated. The boards will have to be lifted and then put back once the work is done. The price would also need to include the removal of the old insulation.

I have a completely empty loft which has just had foam insulation removed. I need traditional blanket insulation to be installed. It’s a small 2 bed house.

Following a recently completed loft conversion, we have a total of 84 square meters of ceiling in 4 rooms which need to be fitted with semi rigid rockwool insulation and plasterboard. The loft already has wooden partition framing installed. However, except for one room, the other rooms in the loft do not yet have plasterboard or semi-rigid rock wall installed. Insulation: Two layers of semi rigid rock wool to be fitted in between the loft roof joists, leaving an air gap above, with already fitted first fix electrical cables for lights to be left hanging through ready for plaster-boarding. The first layer is 100mm insulation and the second layer either 100mm or 50mm insulation. Insulation is compression fitted. Plaster-boarding: Single layer of 15mm fire board to be fitted to 84 sq meters of loft ceiling joists. Other details. There are no stairs. Access via a ladder only. Plasterboard and insulation already in loft. Plasterboard screws supplied. Floor to ceiling height is 2.4 meters high. A 40cm high hopper is onsite to stand on. 4 telescopic plasterboard jacks also onsite. Looking for fitting within next 10 days.

Need assistance in putting up conservatory roof insulation and cladding

We have sheets of celotex that require cutting and installing in the eves of our roof along with wool insulation in the floor

The existing insulation has been laid in such a way that it leaves gaps at the eaves. I think it needs relaying by turning through 90 degrees. Area involved about 20m2 .

Fitting of insulation under floor I'm crawl.space accessed via cellar. There is already some insulation but it has fallen so needs re-positioning, and I'm happy to supply additional insulation material.
