Bought the house recently and thinking of redoing the flooring upstairs so thought that it might be worth also moving the boiler. The boiler is in one of the rooms upstairs and we want to move it down to the kitchen. From research I saw that moving boilers may impact the flooring so I'm thinking of doing it both now to save money and time. Also, from my understanding the boiler is combi-boiler but I can confirm once I move in. For now I'm looking for quotes.

The appliance don't blow cold air and the extractor pipe is missing. This is a white GoodHome portable air conditioner unit.The model appears similar to the GoodHome Malay 9000BTU local air conditioner. It features 3 cooling speeds and uses R290 refrigerant.

The units has power and turns on but the cooling doesn’t seem to fully kick in and then it reverts back to warm/room temperature air…

You must be a plumber or a heating engineer. Boiler diagnosis completed as follows below and need someone to replace both parts. Parts to be ordered separately and not included in price here. - system pressure was low. I topped up the pressure and reset the boiler; however, the boiler still failed to fire. The appliance was displaying the fault code shown in the photographs provided. I referred to the manufacturer's instructions, which identify this fault as relating to the gas valve. I then contacted the manufacturer directly to confirm, and they advised that the fault is associated with the gas valve and ignition electrodes, with replacement of these components being the recommended course of action. The active fault codes displayed on the front of the boiler provide a clear indication of the fault condition being detected by the appliance, and the manufacturer has confirmed that these codes relate to the gas valve and ignition electrodes.

There’s a gap beneath my boiler that needs to be covered as it’s a possible entry point for mice. The pest control company has asked for a Perspex sheet to built and siliconed in place around the boilers paperwork. Would need to be custom fitted and make w a jigsaw. Thanks

Hi, I’m looking for a professional decorator or handyman to repair and repaint water-damaged walls in the common stairwell area of my apartment in NW3 London. There was previously a leak from my boiler (faulty ball valve), but this has now been fixed and the area is drying out properly. The walls currently have: • Brown water staining • Flaking / bubbling paint • Some minor plaster damage • Light mould in one lower corner I want the job done properly so the staining doesn’t come back through. The job likely requires: • Scraping back all loose paint • Treating any mould • Sealing with stain-blocking primer (e.g. Zinsser) • Filling / patch plaster repair where needed • Sanding smooth • Repainting (white/neutral to match existing) This is in a stairwell so access may require care (not very high ceilings but awkward angles). Boiler pressure dropped - need someone to re pressureise

I have a boiler with 2 connecting pipes going into it. One of the pipes is leaking so just needs attention and tightening.

I would love a quote for a Boiler Timer replacement for my 1 bed flat. The boiler itself works fine, but it has to be turned on and off manually. The existing timer attached to the water heater switch is completely unresponsive - it does not display anything or respond to my attempts to reset. I have been operating the water heater manually since I moved in but would like to install a new digital timer so that I can program water heating automatically and easily. The boiler only affects hot water as my radiator system is electric. I would prefer this job to be completed in one visit so would like the replacement timer to be sourced by yourselves in advance or to be given guidance on which to order in advance so that it is ready to install on the same day as your visit.

I have a new thermostat which needs swapping for the old one. There’s instructions with the new one but may need some wiring and checking with a phase tester first. Should hopefully be a mega quick job!
