After my last descale of my Sage Oracle, the steam boilers descale drainage valve no longer seals and water constantly drains into the drip tray from the steam boiler. It likely needs a new O-ring or a replacement of that valve. I put £150 as my budget, but I don't know what this will cost. Happy to chat about it. I look forward to hearing from you Balsasz. My Hive thermostat is connected to the receiver however it doesn’t send the signal to for the heat to work. Boiler is working there is hot water, just no heat. I need someone who can diagnose the issue/repair if needed which may be the zone valve/actuator rather then the HiVE thermostat.

I will need a certified gas engineer to do this task. It is very simple with someone's experience. I will be installing a new Honeywell Home Evohome Wireless with hot water. It will replace the old one. I just need someone to install the hot water and heating receiver. The control is wireless, so I can have it downstairs. I've attached photos of the boiler, the current thermostat, and the new one. New switch needed to be installed for my immersion heater, I need someone who is an electrician, but who understands boilers There is a water pressure boosting device installed i want this removed, as the power is shared between them due to original installation is not ideal. There’s a gap beneath my boiler that needs to be covered as it’s a possible entry point for mice. The pest control company has asked for a Perspex sheet to built and siliconed in place around the boilers paperwork. Would need to be custom fitted and make w a jigsaw. Thanks

Hi, I’m looking for a professional decorator or handyman to repair and repaint water-damaged walls in the common stairwell area of my apartment in NW3 London. There was previously a leak from my boiler (faulty ball valve), but this has now been fixed and the area is drying out properly. The walls currently have: • Brown water staining • Flaking / bubbling paint • Some minor plaster damage • Light mould in one lower corner I want the job done properly so the staining doesn’t come back through. The job likely requires: • Scraping back all loose paint • Treating any mould • Sealing with stain-blocking primer (e.g. Zinsser) • Filling / patch plaster repair where needed • Sanding smooth • Repainting (white/neutral to match existing) This is in a stairwell so access may require care (not very high ceilings but awkward angles). Boiler pressure dropped - need someone to re pressureise

I have a boiler with 2 connecting pipes going into it. One of the pipes is leaking so just needs attention and tightening.

I would love a quote for a Boiler Timer replacement for my 1 bed flat. The boiler itself works fine, but it has to be turned on and off manually. The existing timer attached to the water heater switch is completely unresponsive - it does not display anything or respond to my attempts to reset. I have been operating the water heater manually since I moved in but would like to install a new digital timer so that I can program water heating automatically and easily. The boiler only affects hot water as my radiator system is electric. I would prefer this job to be completed in one visit so would like the replacement timer to be sourced by yourselves in advance or to be given guidance on which to order in advance so that it is ready to install on the same day as your visit.

I have a new thermostat which needs swapping for the old one. There’s instructions with the new one but may need some wiring and checking with a phase tester first. Should hopefully be a mega quick job!

This boiler is not working as it should and I was recommended to replace the heating elements. So looking for someone to do this... It's not heating water well or fast enough, it costs me insane amount of money (like summertime around £100 goes to just have hot water in the morning for one shower session). Now it provides barely warm water after 3 hours of heating water. I don't know price for this work so please do let me know how much materials and labour will cost!
