My bath/shower’s hot water has become unreliable, although the hot water supply itself is working well. I think the problem may be limescale affecting the thermostatic mixer cartridge, so I would like it to be removed, inspected and cleaned. I started trying to do this myself but realised I don’t have the experience or tools for the job, so I’m looking for someone to help. The mixer is an Ideal Standard A4054AA Active bath shower mixer, and the thermostatic cartridge is S960134NU, in case that’s helpful. This is a slightly fiddly job that will require experience with thermostatic mixers and a toolkit. I particularly struggled to remove the plastic pin holding the cartridge/unit together, so I’d like someone who is comfortable dismantling and reassembling this type of mixer.

The thermostatic valve on a shower needs cleaning or possibly replacing. It was installed to make servicing impossible. The valve 52mm nut cannot be accessed. The water supply to the shower is off. So, the shower unit needs to be unscrewed from inlet hot and cold supplies and outlets in order to access the valve. This is visit one. Then I will sort out the thermostatic valve. Once that is done - visit two, maybe a week or so later, will be reassembly and checking everything works with no leaks! The suggested price is one visit

Danfoss Thermostat Reset: I have a battery-powered Danfoss TP7001 thermostat that has hit its annual service deadline. It is currently locked out showing the "SEr" code and a warning triangle symbol. I need someone who knows how to access the installer menu or perform a hardware reset to clear this lockout and restore full control.

I bought and had a hive thermostat installed a few months ago but it has now stopped connecting to my boiler and I am completely unable to turn on my radiators for heating. Can you help reboot the system and reconnect?

Smart thermostat doesn't seem to be communicating with the actuator. Unsure if that is the issue but I cant change the temp of the water and the taps/showers are barely getting luke warm. Boiler is firing up but just no heat.

I have 4 electric radiators in my flat with manual dial-style thermostats (pictures attached) I want the thermostats on all 4 radiators replaced with smart thermostats, which will be linked to my smartphone. I want to be able to set the temperature and timers for all 4 radiators centrally from my phone. I am happy to purchase the materials myself if you can recommend to me which thermostats to buy. In addition there is an issue with one of the radiators where it makes a noise and does not heat up properly when turned on. I need this to be investigated and repaired if possible.

Hello, I need a quick quote to replace an existing concealed thermostatic shower valve in my bathroom in E8. I have already purchased the replacement part. It is a direct like-for-like generic swap: removing an ENKI Dulwich TSV021 and putting in a Trisen Formby TSV102. Both units share identical 135–165mm pipe centres. It is a straight swap through the existing wall plate hole so a fixed price for an hour of time to do this.

The temperature knob of the shower doesn't turn so it's always on one temperature. I would need the cartridge replaced. I would get the part, just need someone to replace it. Brand is Bristan and they confirmed the cartridge code is TLM90-90. (Model on valve SU0618ZI).

I need help replacing my existing shower kit. The thermostatic mixer has failed but because a replacement isn’t available for that component, I need to replace the whole kit (valve, rigid riser etc) with a new one I have already purchased. Attached are photos of the existing kit and of the replacement.

Primarily, the boiler needs serving. It's working and does the job but hasn't been serviced recently so needs doing. The mains water stopcock has developed a leak and that needs sorting and cleaning. Additionally, the radiators throughout the flat are sporadic and have a mind of their own, sometimes coming on when not needed and failing to come on when they are needed in spite of automatic timing controls on the boiler. This may be a thermostat control issue. Would like this diagnosed and fixed. Rads also need bleeding every now and then which I would like resolved.
