We have a back garden that is 30m long by 6m wide, that faces constant encroachment of brambles, nettles and virginia creeper from both sides. In 2020-2021 we cleared it completely ourselves, but after a few years of fighting it, last summer we just didn't have the time, did nothing at all, and the garden is now a complete state again. One third of the garden is grass with interspersed weeds. We have about a third we planted to be wild flowers, now awash with nettles and brambles, and another covered area is also now rife with snaking ground brambles. The small front garden also needs work, but that is much easier to get under control. We need someone able to commit long term: starting with few sessions of clearing (time and days to be agreed with you) and then someone who can come every couple of weeks for maybe 2 hours to keep the front and back under control (open to negotiation depending on what is needed - perhaps more in summer months if necessary and less in winter). We are not just looking for slash and burn approach - we want someone who understands gardens and is able to help us make some planting decisions in light of the garden's limitations (i.e. encroachment from both sides, which makes it really hard to grow anything along the borders). We don't have a green waste bin, but are permitted two bags of green waste per week. We can also do tip runs ourselves if needs be. The budget given assumes the initial clear up but not the maintenance (the quote is GBP not USD as it shows). It is a terraced house. We are flexible with times and days.
