Hi, I need a handyman/qualified tradie to repair a damaged lower part of a wall where the old skirting board was removed (please note this is a whole one-sided wall despite the pictures, measuring 320 cm including a small corner). The wall and laminate flooring now have a visible gap (see photos). What I need done: - Clean and prep the exposed area - Patch/repair the damaged wall edge (plaster/compound) - Fill or cover the floor-to-wall gap neatly without installing a new skirting board, because I need space for furniture - Ensure the finish is smooth, tidy, and matches the existing wall and floor as closely as possible Spare laminate boards that match the floor is provided to fill in the gap. Please bring any other materials and suggest the best solution.

Small stain removal needed for sisal carpet The stain was from a laundry detergent gel capsule that popped and soaked into the carpet The material is sisal so care needs to be taken. Please let me know the process you’d use to remove this stain.

fit skirting board around media wall, 1.5m width 2.3cm depth..3m skirting board needs to be cut to fit around media wall

I have a fitted wardrobe that needs partial disassembly, so that a new floor can be installed. The disassembly in a previous room took 2 hours. Then I need it reinstalled, this previously took about 2.5-3 hours. In addition to this, I need skirting boards decorated once the floor is installed (about 25m in total length. the skirting boards will be installed by the floor fitters but will need painting/caulking/etc) I would ideally like the disassembly to occur on friday or saturday of this week, with the re-decoration and re-install on tuesday. The floors are being fitted on Monday, so wardrobe needs to be apart and removed by then, and then reinstalled asap afterwards I NEED you to have a VAT number so I can claim the cost back on insurance, so please don't quote if you cant supply a VAT invoice. Please see attached photos for some idea of the wardrobe. The doors lift off quite easily and theres not too much internal structure. The rails are just screwed in, and the wooden panels on the side are glued in.

Busy with an office renovation ... need to remove carpet tiles from the floors. Having done more than 1/2 myself a two person crew can remove these in half a day easily but it is physical labour as the tiles are tacked/glues to the floors

Carpet fitting in 2 bedrooms (both around 3.6m x 4.75m) and carpeting floors of 4 built-in cupboards. Some odd-shaped corners due to built-in cupboards. See pictures. Re-use the existing underlay, gripper, aluminium bar etc I will clear the furniture and uplift the existing carpets The existing carpet was glued in some cupboards. I don't have glue, so please bring it with you. I don't want to use a lot of glue, in case the carpet must be changed in future. The carpets are due to be delivered on Thursday 25th Jan. The install must take place on Friday 26th Jan, or Thursday 25th if the delivery is early in the day. I haven't got a delivery time yet. The carpets will be delivered to ground level. The flat is on the 2nd floor. The heaviest carpet is 61kg. I am available to help carry it up the stairs. The carpet weight could be reduced to 47kg if it is trimmed downstairs. I ordered offcuts to get an earlier delivery date, so there is quite a bit of extra carpet. It would be great if you can dispose of the old carpets. I have an estate car, so I could do-it-myself, but I don't have a Tower Hamlets card to use the waste disposal center. My car can also be used for runs to Screwfix/Wickes as necessary - I will be present for the delivery/fitting if an extra pair of hands are needed for anything. - Due date: Needs to be done on Thursday, 25 January 2024
