What are the furnitures: - One desk chair - One desk ( disassembled - the longer piece is 210cm long ) - One standing lamp - One bookshelves (110cm wide 175cm height) - 2 monitors - One small printer - Various small office furnitures that can fit into 1 or 2 boxes The office is on the 4th floor with a lift The apartment is on the 2nd floor with a smaller lift I’ll be helping to load the furnitures into the van in Shoreditch. We’re moving office from Shoreditch, EC1V, and have a few pieces of furniture as well as boxes that need moving. This is a full day - 8 hours - job with a few different drops, all within London. This is a task for two pairs of hands and one van. A long wheel base transit (or similar minimum) is required as we have a meeting table with long planks. Tasker will need to bring a large Philips screwdriver and either a spanner set or wrench, to dismantle the meeting table. Tasker will need to bring a tall step ladder so we can take down some ceiling-hung plants. There’s one flight of stairs at the pick up spot, where there is a loading bay we can use. Our drop off location for most of the items will be either the safe store in King’s Cross - which has an elevator, or it will be on Berwick Street, soho, with three flights of steps. I’ve worked out the cost estimate below based on the latter as it’ll take more time. All the boxes and table parts are manageable, there’s nothing overly challenging to move. The way I’ve estimated cost here is as follows: 2 people 1 day @ £15/hr = £240 Van hire = £150 Correct tools etc = £50 Parking = £30 Congestion charge = £15 Contingency = £50 Total = £535 Thanks
