Help we have moved into a flat that was hiding a boiler in one of the bedrooms - please help a girl out with finding a way to safely cover it without loosing any space in the room and looking super ugly. Willing to pay we just have no idea what to do. Would love someone with some prior experience and proof of ideas.

I have an AEG/Electrolux fan oven (model PNC: 944 181 198). Recently the circuit breaker tripped on the fuse box and since then the oven has not been heating up at all, although the fan continues to run. The grill functions normally. The interior light is also not working (failed quite a long time ago). I would like someone to repair the oven and make the light work again please. Budget indicated excludes any required replacement parts and VAT (if applicable). Ideally the tasker would bring suitable parts that they consider are likely to be needed based on their assessment of the most likely cause of the issues (e.g. replacement heating element, light bulb).

I need a small loft clearance before future raised loft boarding. Items to remove: old loose sink/basin; loose timber battens/boards/panels; old antenna; loose boards/panels; small loose debris around accessible area. The loft has newly installed insulation and solar equipment, including inverter, isolators and cables. Person must be careful and must not step on insulation or between joists. Please use crawl boards/loft boards only and avoid touching the solar equipment, cables, vents, warning signs or insulation certificate. Do not cut, remove, disturb or lean on any fixed roof timbers, rafters, joists, battens, solar supports, cables or insulation. The tiles and insulation roll are to remain as they will be used for something else. Access is via loft hatch with ladder. Photos attached. I am looking for this to be done during the week commencing Monday 24 August 2026. Exact day/time to be agreed once front access is clear following driveway works. Replace Combi Boiler with same, currently installed Vaillant Ecotec Plus 832. This is a 32kwh unit and I would like to replace it with a same kwh updated Vaillant. unit Pipe work is in place and should be a fairly east swap with good access. Supply and fit required. I will be onsite to assist with access and supply parking permit.

Boiler service with hive installation

Have recently had boiler installed and contractor had to cut out a small hole in ceiling for new flue. Need someone to re plaster the ceiling - also open to offers for those who can re plaster and paint in the same day

I need a plumber to re-pressurize my boiler and to tighten the bathroom heater as it’s leaking at 8 AM on the 9th July 2026 please. I have guest staying in my flat and the only time they can do is 8 AM tomorrow morning.

You must be a plumber or a heating engineer. Boiler diagnosis completed as follows below and need someone to replace both parts. Parts to be ordered separately and not included in price here. - system pressure was low. I topped up the pressure and reset the boiler; however, the boiler still failed to fire. The appliance was displaying the fault code shown in the photographs provided. I referred to the manufacturer's instructions, which identify this fault as relating to the gas valve. I then contacted the manufacturer directly to confirm, and they advised that the fault is associated with the gas valve and ignition electrodes, with replacement of these components being the recommended course of action. The active fault codes displayed on the front of the boiler provide a clear indication of the fault condition being detected by the appliance, and the manufacturer has confirmed that these codes relate to the gas valve and ignition electrodes.

There’s a gap beneath my boiler that needs to be covered as it’s a possible entry point for mice. The pest control company has asked for a Perspex sheet to built and siliconed in place around the boilers paperwork. Would need to be custom fitted and make w a jigsaw. Thanks

Hi, I’m looking for a professional decorator or handyman to repair and repaint water-damaged walls in the common stairwell area of my apartment in NW3 London. There was previously a leak from my boiler (faulty ball valve), but this has now been fixed and the area is drying out properly. The walls currently have: • Brown water staining • Flaking / bubbling paint • Some minor plaster damage • Light mould in one lower corner I want the job done properly so the staining doesn’t come back through. The job likely requires: • Scraping back all loose paint • Treating any mould • Sealing with stain-blocking primer (e.g. Zinsser) • Filling / patch plaster repair where needed • Sanding smooth • Repainting (white/neutral to match existing) This is in a stairwell so access may require care (not very high ceilings but awkward angles). Boiler pressure dropped - need someone to re pressureise

I have a boiler with 2 connecting pipes going into it. One of the pipes is leaking so just needs attention and tightening.

I would love a quote for a Boiler Timer replacement for my 1 bed flat. The boiler itself works fine, but it has to be turned on and off manually. The existing timer attached to the water heater switch is completely unresponsive - it does not display anything or respond to my attempts to reset. I have been operating the water heater manually since I moved in but would like to install a new digital timer so that I can program water heating automatically and easily. The boiler only affects hot water as my radiator system is electric. I would prefer this job to be completed in one visit so would like the replacement timer to be sourced by yourselves in advance or to be given guidance on which to order in advance so that it is ready to install on the same day as your visit.
