Kitchen Works Protect floor prior to works. Remove all existing sealant around worktops. Remove kitchen sink, hob, and oven. Replace and mitre left-hand worktop, cut in sink aligned with window. Retain, cut, and mitre middle worktop to fit. Mitre right-hand counter top to fit. Clean off all remaining sealant. Apply new sealant around kitchen for one consistent finish. Reinstall sink and hob, seal with clear sealant. Reinstall oven. Fix back threshold securely into place.

Need a wardrobe moved from upstairs to downstairs and wardrobe assembled upstairs

Intumescent strips on the main door of the flat has gotten damage and needs replacement. It seems to be of 10 mm width and is a twin Intumescent strip. Someone needs to order it and bring it to work, or guide me on what to order and where from. The job itself is simple and will take less than 1 hour

The toilet is effectively “holding the flush button down forever”. I've opened it up, this is all I can see and not sure how to fix! Seems hard to get the whole unit out. It's really hard to judge the time here. So let's work off £50/hr

Stopped working..think circuit needs replacing

Small sealant touch up in the shower and an issue with the toilet flush.

Left speaker often comes in and out of making sound, unless you turn the volume really high. Even when it isn’t doing this, it sounds weaker than the other speaker. I have tried swapping the cables over and it is still the left speaker that has the problem

The flat has high ceilings - 3.40m. I need the following to be done: 1 Fit a large lamp (secto octo 4240 pendant) including ceiling up, using an existing location on the ceiling (image 1) 2 cap the wiring in one ceiling cup/fitting (image 2) 3 replace and fit new ceiling cup and cable and place lampshade (image 3) 4 place one lampshade onto an existing fitting and replace existing lightbulb (image 4) All lampshades/lamps and any bulbs will be provided, one pendant comes with a ceiling cup, too. I will also buy one extra ceiling cup cable. You would need to bring a large step ladder/extension ladder to reach the ceiling.

The boiler pressure often drops. Some of the radiators are leaking. The task is to inspect all the radiators in the house (8 in total) to ensure there are no leaks, make the boiler function properly so that the pressure doesn't drop frequently, and adjust the heating level.

I have two table lamps that are no longer working

There are 12 steps and a very small landing.

We are having carpet installer on our small victorian staircase, and the carpet fitter has told us that the bullnose is too worn down on two of the steps so they need repairing/replacing. They are both 85cm long. See pictures for better idea.

A hob is new and it needs a cord connecting it to the socket (I don't have the cord).

Need someone to fix Zanussi dishwasher. But into kitchen, I can help remove kick-boards and lift out. End cycle light flashes 4 times and heels 4 times. Indicates blocked drainage pipe or trouble draining.

Reposting as have been let down twice by the guy I had lined up to do the job… Back in February the upstairs flat had a leaky sink tap which caused some minor damage to our bathroom ceiling below. It’s now fully dry and in need of redecorating. Have attached a photo of the damage initially and now that it’s dry. The biggest patch is above the bathroom window and there is also a small patch on the ceiling above the door. Just need these small sections making good again. FYI this is what the previous contractor had intended to do: “scrape and sand watermarks, fill if necessary and then stainblock the whole ceiling and once dry give the ceiling another full coat of Dulux easy care bathroom paint in white.” If you’d like to take a look before quoting our tenants can be available most evenings after 5:30pm.
