We’re looking for a licensed electrician to carry out several jobs in an older semi-detached house: * Install 4 new ceiling light outlets in the corridor (good roof cavity access available). * Install 2 outdoor lights at the front entry, connected to 2 motion sensors. * Install 2 new power points in a bedroom (under-house access available). * Install 3 new power points in the living room: * 1 behind the TV * 1 beside the TV * 1 at a separate location in the room. The house has good access via the roof cavity, and I can assist with access underneath the house. Budget of $750 is indicative only as I’m seeking quotes. Special Note: The hanging hardware/back pieces on one of the frames are slightly uneven (one is higher than the other), so some careful measuring and adjustment will be needed. Looking for an electrician for TV wall mounting, with all cables concealed for a clean finish and new PowerPoint. I already have the new 75-inch Hisense TV and Sanus fixed wall bracket, both pictured. The TV currently sitting on the cabinet is being replaced. Work required: 1. Install a new double power point behind the TV cabinet, concealed from view. There is an existing power point nearby on the adjoining wall—see photos. Please leave that existing outlet in place. 2. Install a new power point behind the wall-mounted TV, properly wired and positioned so the outlet and plug do not interfere with the fixed bracket. 3. Supply and install one quality HDMI cable concealed inside the wall, running from behind the TV down to behind the cabinet, with neat cable pass-through/brush plates at both ends. 4. Install the supplied bracket and mount the new TV, securely fixed to suitable wall structure, level and at an agreed height and position. Connect and test everything. Please include any additional person needed to lift and mount the TV safely. The aim is no visible hanging cables, extension leads across the floor or exposed surface conduit. Wall construction and the best concealed wiring route will need to be confirmed. Looking for an experienced plasterer/gyprocker to complete a small repair in the ceiling around a recently installed ceiling fan in our master bedroom. As shown in the photo, there is a rectangular section of plasterboard around the ceiling fan which was cut to install a support beam for the fan. The job is to: * Patch/reinstate the plasterboard around the ceiling fan * Tape/set/plaster as required * Sand smooth and flush with the existing ceiling * Leave the repaired area ready for us to prime and paint ourselves * Protect the bedroom/flooring from dust and clean up afterwards Ceiling height is approximately 3.9 metres, so you’ll need to provide your own suitable high ladder/platform/access equipment.
