A bit of an unconventional task. I’m a renter, so I can’t have a proper AC set up. My only solution is a portable AC. I’m not a crafty or handy person, but I also don’t want flimsy cardboard boxes against my window. I need help executing the idea attached in the photos. Ideally for two windows. Likely need a custom solution to perfectly fit the measurements of the awning windows. The job will involve closing off part of a large awning window with a suitable board/panel and cutting a hole to suit the exhaust hose, ensuring a neat look. The sides of the awning window will also need to be sealed. You must supply all tools, materials and fittings required and be confident working with non-standard window setups. If the installation is successful and the unit runs well, we will be purchasing an additional unit and will require a second installation — and will book you again! The timber balcony balustrade is wobbling so it needs timber batten braces fixed from the top of the balustrade post to the rafters beneath the timber deck. Refer attached images. Supply of materials by me. ie 92 x 18mm H3 timber batten braces, M10 bolt(s), buggles.

Half the paving is alright but the other half bricks have dropped ,very loose and very uneven in places

Acrylic Rendering needs to be done on the brick area of the front elevation. Expected to finish the work by 2nd week of February 2026. The scaffolding should be arranged by the painter.

We have just removed the tiles from our splashback and need to have a small section around the window rendered as the kitchen is no longer u shaped and we won’t be tiling in this area. The wall is 2100 corner to corner and the window reveal is 100mm deep. We don’t need the full wall rendered as we will be doing a substantial renovation in 12 months and this will all be demolished.

We are looking to hang a round mirror onto a plasterboard wall. The mirror is not glass, but it has a metal frame so is heavier than something you might get at Ikea etc. Looking for someone who can hang it properly, using the appropriate fixings, not make a mess, etc. And takes pride in their work.
