I’m replacing my existing hard-wired oven (20A) with a new oven that has a 10A plug. The current setup is a hard-wired 20A oven circuit (with existing cabling in place). I need a licensed electrician to: Disconnect the existing hard-wired oven connection. Install a standard 10A single power point (or double) (surface-mounted or flush, depending on what suits). Replace the 20A circuit breaker at the electrical switchboard with a 10A breaker to suit the new outlet. Test the circuit for safety and compliance (RCD, earthing, etc.) Notes: The existing cabling and circuit are already in place — just need conversion to a socket outlet. The new oven is 10A with a standard plug (comes fitted). Please bring all required parts (10A socket, 10A breaker, etc.) and include them in your quote.
