Household Westinghouse 5 Gas stove requires usual maintenance, nobs not functioning as expected, requires multiple tries to get ignition

I have a 2-storey house in Blacktown, NSW 2148. The house is approximately 15 years old and currently has no known roof issues (like water leaks, or cracked tiles). There is a very tall eucalyptus tree directly outside the property, which causes leaf and debris accumulation on the roof and gutters.
