Looking for an experienced, qualified carpenter to professionally install a new external laundry door. I already have the new door, door handle/hardware and dog door, so this is primarily an installation/labour job. Work required includes fitting and hanging the external door correctly, installing the door hardware and handle, and cutting and fitting the dog door into the new door. I’m looking for a carpenter experienced with external door installations who can ensure the door is properly fitted, aligned, secure and finished to a professional standard. I recently brought my cat to live with me in a rental share house. He needs to be able to come and go from my room at night, but I don't want to sleep with my bedroom door open. I have purchased a second-hand door, and a cat flap. The new door is exactly same size as my current bedroom door (standard 820 x 2040 x 35mm, hollow in the middle). The handles are at the same height. I'd like to have a cat flap installed into the new door, have my current bedroom door removed for safe storage, and have the new door installed into the frame.
