We need a section of ceiling repaired at Shortland RSL Sub-Branch following damage caused by a previous roof leak. The damaged area is approximately 1 metre across and will require proper repair rather than a small patch. Work required will likely include: • Removing loose or damaged plasterboard • Installing new plasterboard sheet • Securing to existing framing or installing support battens if required • Taping and setting joins • Sanding smooth • Painting the repaired section to match the existing ceiling The job is inside a large community hall, with easy access and plenty of working space. The roof leak that caused the damage has been addressed separately. We are a volunteer-run RSL sub-branch, so we’re looking for someone reliable who can complete the repair properly at a fair price. Preference will be given to trades with experience in plasterboard ceiling repairs and finishing so the repair blends cleanly with the existing ceiling. I rather stupidly cut into our crimsafe screen door to install a dog door. The dog door frame base - combined with the base of the screen door - didn't give enough clearance for one of our dachshunds to get through, so it was unusable. I'm hoping to get someone to build a wooden frame to create a dog door. I already have the dog flap, but I'd need you to bring the tools and wood for the frame. It would be ideal for the frame to be thin so we can open the door fully as there is not much clearance there. Additionally, there are some exposed wires on the base and right side, so if you could bring something to cover it, that would be great - though that part isn't essential as I think I can do that myself. The hole measures approx 32cm high and 30cm wide. Appreciate the help!

Moved into house 2025. Bathroom ensuite window stuck since moving in - awning style - would like to improve ventilation, seeing if anyone can try to open it, ideally would love to be able to open/close it (no fly screen). Access to window can be inside ensuite and on top of single story garage roof (ladders available). Weekends and wednesdays.

We had a botched painting job on our entry room and are wondering if anyone has the interest/skills/equipment to help us fix it? White paint was applied over red paint (without proper prep) and it’s now peeling. We think it might be timber underneath so it’d be great to sand it back to expose that timber.
