The job may involve: * Inspecting the complete flue installation and confirming it is safe and compliant * Checking that the flue sections, ceiling support and penetration components remain properly aligned and secured * Repositioning or replacing the displaced collar * Inspecting the roof penetration and flashing for movement * Confirming all required heat clearances and seals before the heater is used * Repairing the damaged plaster and repainting the affected ceiling area, either directly or by coordinating with a plasterer/painter The heater will not be used until the flue has been checked. Seeking an experienced, insured installer to mount a VERVE folding squat rack and 2 steel wall stringers in my garage in Reservoir VIC. The rack is assembled. The wall is exposed structural brick, believed to be perforated 10-hole clay brick. No mounting holes have been drilled. Fixings must avoid mortar joints and a nearby movement joint. VERVE originally advised M12 fixings with at least 100mm penetration into structural material. Because the bricks are perforated, I need someone experienced with hollow-brick anchoring to inspect the locations and specify the correct system. Chemical anchors with threaded studs and mesh sleeves may be suitable, subject to professional assessment. Work required: • Confirm safe fixing locations and appropriate anchor system • Preferably supply anchors/resin, sleeves, studs and large plate washers • Mount both stringers level into brick, not mortar • Attach and align the rack • Confirm uprights are plumb, feet sit evenly, pins align, and the rack folds without binding • Clean masonry dust Please only offer if you have relevant hollow/perforated-brick anchoring experience, suitable drilling and hole-cleaning equipment, public liability insurance, and will advise if an engineer is required. The awning will be attached to 50mm (approx) thick timber, which sits behind grey mini orb cladding. Happy for the awning brackets to be neatly pre-drilled and mounted using standard spacer sleeves/washers to keep the mini orb flat.

My Front door made of thin plywood was kicked, it didn’t go through. So no hole but there’s 2 sort of like big raised cracks about 30cm long now, I just want them filled in and painted to match the door for a real estate inspection on Friday. (Doesn’t need to be A++ job but just fill in the cracks and a coat of paint. It’s like a shade of eggshell, sort of yellowy on an old front door.
