It looks like the wood frame of the door has deteriorated which may have caused the screws to become loose leading the latch breaking off of the frame. The photos show the door frame's wood at the bottom is breaking which is near where the latch has loosened and become unsecured. The top latch is still in place but it may break off too because there is more weight on it without the bottom latch. It is probably causing tearing on the frame.

The current gap open at 410mm so I can not upgrade the drawer slide to soft closing due to I need to narrow the drawer to allow thicker tracking system. Can you build new kitchen drawer to be narrower, re-use drawer face and install soft closing track. You can quote to do one drawer. If works, I have another 7 x drawer for you. Given: Cabinet internal opening: 410 mm 
Drawer slides from Bunnings warehouse Goliath Soft Close Drawer Slide Pair - 450mm is 45 mm per side. Total space taken by slides = 45 × 2 = 90 mm Drawer outer width required = 410 − 90 = 320 mm So the drawer box should be 320 mm wide (external width). Practical note: 
Most installers will reduce this by another 2–3 mm total for smooth operation, so a real‑world target is often around 317–318 mm. The answer was provided by me but I need comment from experienced installer as I never build a drawer myself before . Also if you choose different brand of the drawer slide the width will be different as well.
