I need an experienced carpenter/door installer to replace two existing internal bathroom doors on a shared bathroom. I will purchase and supply the two new doors and handles/privacy locks. I need the Tasker to complete the installation, including any necessary trimming, hinge installation and fitting of the handles. Door 1 — damaged door frame One of the existing timber door jambs has significant water damage/rot at the bottom of the hinge-side jamb (see photos). There is also a water leak/ingress from the adjacent shower, which appears to have contributed to the timber deterioration. I'd like the Tasker to: • assess the extent of the timber damage; • advise whether the damaged section of jamb can be replaced/repaired or whether the complete jamb/frame should be replaced; • make the repaired/replaced timber ready for painting; • inspect the shower/frame junction and reseal with appropriate bathroom-grade silicone where required to prevent further water reaching the timber. Door 2 Replace existing bathroom door with new door supplied by me. • Remove existing door • Trim/plane new door as required • Install hinges • Hang and align door • Install new bathroom handle/privacy lock • Ensure door opens, closes and latches correctly • Make good any minor areas affected by installation The existing frame appears to be in good condition and I don't currently expect it to require replacement. Heads up before you quote: - Curtains need to be ceiling mounted - Bring your own tools — drill, stud finder, spirit level, step ladder etc - curtains to be installed on ceiling and running wall to wall. Two rooms measure 3.3m wide with 2.8m (2 x photos with the French doors). Replace door Rubber seal on washing machine

I’d like to repair my bathroom door handle and towel rail. The bathroom door handle has come off and needs to be reinstalled or replaced if necessary. The towel rail has also come loose and needs to be securely fixed back to the wall.

I have 3 new internal doors including new handles that need to be installed. the new doors are already on site and do not require much (if any) trimming as they were custom orders.
