The fireplace is an old secondhand Norseman. It’s work fine, just a little rusty. It will have to be assembled as it was in pieces when I bought it. All of the pieces are there and I have extra flue and a couple of right angles being given to me to extend up and through the front face of the house. One obstacle will be getting on top of the awning to install the flue and hood from the outside. If someone can come out to have a look and give a quote, that would be great. I don’t know how much it costs for instillation. $1,200 a 1,500 I’m guessing.

I have removed the old fireplace and hearth but not the chimney. New fireplace to sit on new hearth and 1200 x 1200mm cement sheet 4.5mm thick ( full size sheet purchased kit cut it to correct size) install metal edge around new hearth 4 600x600 cement pavers to make 1200 x 1200. Fix up a bit of ceiling Gyprock from water damage. Install new fireplace and flu and chimney. Replace old chimney and chimney roof flashing with new one (supplied). Ensure it’s all waterproof and do a small Gyprock job neat bathroom see photo of square shaped hole in wall near bathroom door.

I need to get this fireplace removed. It's all gyprock framed. The fireplace is bio ethanol and there is no gas connection. All power points will be disconnected prior so the job is just removal of the fireplace and removal of rubbish. With the right tools and expertise shouldn't take longer than 1.5-2 hours.
