Find a professional gate installation in Melbourne

My gate post is pulling away from the wall it’s secured to, causing the gate to stick. The top of the post needs to be re-secured to the wall. The gate post is 70mm thick at the top, and the wall is brick. I’ve got two 100mm Ankascrews, but you’ll need a good hammer drill with a long bit and a 13 or 14mm hex socket.

The deadbolt (sliding bolt) from the lock does not extend far enough to properly reach and engage the strike plate/receiver on the frame. Scope of work: Inspect the existing surface-mounted gate deadbolt. Replace the bolt mechanism or install a longer throw deadbolt so the bolt extends far enough to fully engage the strike plate. Ensure the lock aligns correctly with the receiver/keeper and operates smoothly. Adjust or replace the strike plate if needed to ensure a secure lock. The goal is for the deadbolt to extend further across the gap and securely latch into the receiver on the opposite side.

Looking for a handyman to tidy up a timber gate post that was poorly built. It’s structurally fine but the outer boards are uneven and patched. Job would involve: Removing some outer boards Re-cladding with straight timber Squaring up edges Filling/sanding joins Prepping ready for paint (or painting if possible) I have timber offcuts available that can be used. The Aircon of this property is leaking, not the air-conditioner itself but the outdoor unit attached to it. It’s leaking all over the balcony and into the downstairs property. To mitigate damage and complaints we would like to organise for the outdoor unit leak to be addressed in a matter where the water or moisture is properly addressed to appropriately get rid of the water

Wooden front gate catches on the closing post in cooler or wet weather. I’m open on the method to fix it. Even shaving off some of the post if that’s the easiest way (but still looks good).

Repair back gate, as shown in photos. The price is for someone to undertake enough repairs so that the back gate can be bolted shut and locked. There are two swinging gates at the back of our property that open up onto a laneway. One of the gates has come off its hinges and no longer lines up with the other gate which still swings fine. I need someone to repair the gate that has come off its hinges by welding back on two (or more) brand-new hinges. Supplying of hinges and all other materials are to be by the contractor and included in the price. Back gate is rather heavy so might take two people to repair, depending on how skilled you are.

My external metal gate is no longer aligning properly with the latch. The gate appears to sit too far away from the strike plate/lock, so it won’t close or stay secured. We have a picket fence which is missing 1 picket and has some rotting cross pieces that needs repairing. The gate also needs repair as it doesn’t shut properly. The decorative knobs on the fence are rotted and also need replacing. I want repair only, not an entirely new fence
