Room size: - Approximately 2.82 m × 5.60 m - Floor area approximately 15.8 m² Scope of work: - Install 12 mm Quick-Step laminate flooring over the existing timber deck subfloor. - Colour to be advised after acceptance of the offer. - Supply and install a manufacturer-approved underlay suitable for installation over an existing timber deck subfloor. Underlay plus floo board must not be thicker than 14mm. - Install matching scotia or trims around the perimeter. - Install transition trims at doorways if required. - Check that the existing timber deck subfloor is level, stable and suitable for laminate installation. - Advise if any plywood sheeting, levelling or other subfloor preparation is required. - Remove installation waste and leave the area clean. Please include in your quote: - Labour-only price per m2. - Materials will be reimbursed upon provision of receipts. - Recommended underlay suitable for a timber deck subfloor. - Cost of scotia, trims and any subfloor preparation. We’ve already removed the tiles, carpet and skirting boards, so it’s prepared for installation. I completed the flooring in the other half of the house but don’t have time to finish this section.
