I have installed new windows to my Alfresco which requires some modification to my decking. The window is 4.76m long. First part – Install structural timbers (i.e. treated pine), approximately 88 mm thick, under my window frame to provide upward support in addition to its current support. The frame is currently partially supported by four separate pieces of ply. The structural timber should be finished with decking timber (i.e. merbau) with its surface flushing with the window frame. Second part – Extend the existing deck out for about 200 mm in width. Note that the existing artificial grass will need to be replaced so new holes can be drilled to create support for the new deck, if required. Attached photos are the existing ones, existing one with annotation and AI generated finished product for reference. Please include the labour and materials in your quote.
