Hybrid/SPC flooring installation – 116m² Looking for an experienced flooring installer to install approximately 116m² of owner-supplied SPC hybrid flooring in a house in Cornella VIC 3551 (near Bendigo/Heathcote). Flooring is Aqua Stone 6.5mm SPC hybrid (AQSSPC-009-6.5). I will have approximately 135m² of flooring supplied and ready on site. Existing flooring will be removed prior to installation and the majority of the subfloor is exposed concrete slab. The slab appears to be in reasonably good condition but has some old adhesive/residue and patched areas. I would like the installer to check the slab for flatness before installation and advise if any grinding, patching or levelling is required. Skirting boards will already be removed, so no scotia installation is required. New skirting will be installed after the flooring. Please quote for installation labour only and let me know your rate per m². If additional subfloor preparation is required, please quote this separately rather than including an unknown allowance. Photos show the current condition of the concrete. Looking for someone experienced specifically with floating SPC/hybrid click flooring. Approximately two long floorboards have suffered water/moisture damage, with one section deteriorating and giving way. At this stage, we do not want to re-sand and polish the entire house. We’re looking for the best practical repair possible. Change of scope: I was previously looking to get somebody in to resand and polish the floorboards in the main part of our house plus our back deck. But I now just need the back deck done.
