The screws holding the latch on one of the gates have come out so need bigger metal screws to re-attach the latch securely. I have a PetSafe underground wired dog fence installed around a 1.5-acre property in Indented Head, VIC. The transmitter has been tested and is working correctly, so there is a break somewhere in the boundary wire. The majority of the boundary wire is clipped to a wire fence around the property perimeter, making it accessible for inspection. There is also a short section that runs underground across the driveway. I’m looking for someone with suitable cable tracing/fault-finding equipment to: * Locate the wire break * Expose the damaged section if required * Repair the wire using appropriate waterproof connectors * Test the system and confirm it is fully operational before leaving Please advise: * What equipment you use to locate underground or boundary wire faults * Your experience with PetSafe or similar pet containment systems * Estimated cost to locate and repair * Your availability I would prefer someone who has experience with wire fault finding rather than general handyman troubleshooting. The footing on the fence has sunk due to earth shifting. It needs to be raised and re cemented to be level. This will make gate close again.
