Job 1 – Replace fence post & box in surrounding panels The existing timber fence post on the side boundary needs to be removed and replaced with a new post. Once the post is in, the surrounding fence panels need to be boxed in properly to fully close the gap. There is currently a galvanised steel pipe propped in place as a temporary fix. The goal is a solid, gap-free finish to prevent a small kitten from squeezing through. Job 2 – Loose fence post & missing panels (photos 1 to 3) A second fence post is loose/leaning and fence panels are missing from this section. Post needs to be re-secured or replaced and panels installed to close the gap. Both fences are weathered hardwood paling style. Happy to discuss whether you supply materials or I do. Please note: both jobs can be done in the same visit

We’re looking for a handyman to install an outdoor side access gate on one side of our house, to match the existing gate setup on the other side (see photos). We already have the gate and metal post supplied. Fence Post has rotted out at bottom and needs replacement. This is a support for the colourbond fence. Exact Job: Remove adjacent pavers to existing 3 Colourbond posts. approximately 250 x 250 area. Ground will need to be excavated approximately 600mm for new post to be installed. New 100 x 75 mm H4 posts to be installed in holes, plumbed up and concreted in. Trowel finish at base of posts to fill in missing pavers. Cut down appropriate lengths of galvanised threaded rod. drill 2 holes in timber post and existing colour bond post ( top and approximately 600mm up from ground.) Utilising m12 nuts and 50 x 50 galvanised washers. Bolt/washer either side of post, followed by plumbing up fence then using the same method nuts/washer to clamp in place.
