We are planning to take out a cyclone fence this weekend and want to replace it with a 2.3-2.4 M timber pailing fence-- we had planned to do this ourselves, but if there's a local carpenter/fencer, we would hire. 10.5 M length. I need someone to install and adjust a side gate that has been moved from its original location to a new, narrower space (approximately 30 cm narrower). One of the two side posts has already been installed and concreted into the ground. The gate is probably the same of the Adjustable Steel Gate Frame Kit sold from Bunnings, is meant to be cut to size and doesn't require to be welded after, just screwed. The job involves: - Installing the second post onto a brick wall - Fitting the hinges onto the posts - Cutting/adjusting the two gate doors so they fit the new opening (roughly 15 cm each door). - Hanging the gates on the posts - Ensuring the doors align properly and close smoothly You will need your own tools to cut and fit the gate and experience with gate or fence installation. Additionally, we may also be interested in prepping and staining the gate, depending on cost. I’m not sure about the cost for this job, so please make an offer with what you consider a fair price.
